Human Technopole
Human Technopole is Italy’s national research institute for the life sciences, established to advance human health through cutting-edge research in computational biology, data science, genomics, structural biology, neuroscience, and related disciplines. Located in Milan, HT brings together scientists from around the world to investigate the biological mechanisms underlying health and disease and to develop innovative approaches for prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The institute is headquartered in Palazzo Italia, the iconic building that served as the Italian Pavilion during Expo Milano 2015. Today, it forms the heart of a rapidly growing scientific campus that hosts advanced research laboratories, national scientific facilities, and training programmes for the next generation of researchers.

Galeazzi Hospital
IRCCS Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio Hospital, part of Gruppo San Donato, is a Research Institute located in MIND (Milan Innovation District), Milan. It unites two historic names in Italian healthcare: the Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, Italy’s leading centre for orthopaedic surgery by volume and an international reference point for Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, and the Istituto Clinico Sant’Ambrogio, a benchmark centre for Cardiovascular Medicine and Bariatric Surgery. Together, they form a single, next-generation multi-specialist hospital and a future pillar of Milan’s growing Research, Innovation and Care ecosystem.
Built to the most advanced sustainability and functionality standards, the hospital spans 16 floors and roughly 180,000 m², with 614 beds and 126 ambulatories.

MIND – Milano Innovation District
Human Technopole is located within MIND (Milano Innovation District), one of Europe’s largest urban regeneration and innovation projects. Developed on the former Expo 2015 site, MIND is a dynamic ecosystem dedicated to science, technology, education, healthcare and sustainability.
The district brings together leading institutions including Human Technopole, Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio Research Hospital, the new scientific campus of the University of Milan and numerous international companies, start-ups and innovation centres. Designed as a “city of knowledge”, MIND fosters collaboration between researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and policymakers to address some of society’s most pressing challenges in health, technology and sustainable development.
The conference venue offers participants the opportunity to experience a unique environment where scientific research, healthcare innovation and technological development coexist within a modern, green and highly connected district just 20 minutes from Milan city centre.
